Kendihurt and her baby
Kendihurt is 20 years old and her baby Leterberstuin is 1 year old.
Kendihurt has lived here all her life. She told us about how much time she now saves by having access to clean, safe water nearby.
It now takes her just a few minutes to walk to the water point. She fetches water twice a day and uses it to clean her house, clothes, utensils and her baby, as well as drinking and cooking.
“Sometimes I leave my baby with my neighbours while I quickly fetch water”
