Work starts in Gem-asa Village

The projects in Ethiopia have now been running for 6 months and already great progress has been made to construction.

2 springs have been capped, and reservoirs are under development
4 hand dug wells constructed
Construction of rain water harvesting at one school underway
16 traditional latrines built, 64 under construction and nearly complete
73 house to house hygiene promotion sessions
1,450 people have taken part in mass hygiene promotion activities

A hand dug well of 4.5m depth of excavation & 0.8m water depth in Zaetate
Gem-asa village sees the development of a spring. Soon this little girl will have a tap to collect her water from instead of having to collect it from the unprotected source here.
